Ideality working with a long term client and Architect as a SAP assessor, we assisted in providing a sympathetic thermal strategy for the development of luxury flats within existing 1930s and modern building fabric.

The Petrol station was built in 1934 but closed in 1973 and went unloved for 40 years. Complete with swaying palm trees, this stunning art-deco building would not look out of place on the French Riviera.

But it’s actually in West Sussex and has been lovingly restored to its former glory.

The dwelling achieved a C Energy Efficiency rating with a predicated running cost of £758 per year (£6.53/m2 per year).
