Independent Auditor

Ideality provides an auditing resource service for clients and developers. Often we sit between the client and architect/design team so that we can offer impartial design advice and ensure compliance with key regulations. We look at the occupier lifestyle, how they may use the building and then apply this into the design and technical aspects of the dwelling.

Energy assessor

All newly constructed domestic dwellings in the UK require an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) when first sold or let. As an On Construction Domestic Energy Assessor (OCDEA) we undertake energy calculations, using the Standard Assessment Procedure (SAP) software, for newly constructed dwellings. The calculations produce a new build EPC.

We are an experienced, friendly and knowledgeable assessor who will help you through the initial results up to the As Built evidence requirements.

Party wall surveyor

Our Director Simon Jones is a Member of the Faculty of Party Wall Surveyors (MFPWS) and can assist you through the process of the Act and can act as both the Owners and “Agreed” surveyor. We cover a radius of 20 miles from Leicester.

We provide a prompt professional service that is competitively priced and only ever undertaken by qualified Party Wall Surveyors.

Ideality undertakes all aspects of the Party Wall etc. Act 1996, providing the following services:

Sustainability certification

The Code for Sustainable Homes is seen as the benchmark for both the sustainable design and construction of new homes. It is designed to encourage the reduction of carbon emissions and create homes that are more sustainable through its life. Although the Code is no longer mandatory and the new voluntary scheme, Home Quality Mark is being created as an alternative we are licensed with BRE for both schemes.
